trail 1 in the winter

We took advantage of a lovely Winter day yesterday.  It got up near 50 degrees.   When MA was done working, we loaded up the dogs, and went to Charlestown State Park again.  We headed back to trail 1.   This time we did the whole trail–2.63 miles, classified rugged.

HM and MA kept trading Opal and the camera.  We still don’t have any pictures of HM!

Looks like a great trail. I did a double take with the picture of MA. When did he turn into CK? I always thought he looked like you, but as a full-grown man, he looks just like his dad!

I know. Sometimes I do a double-take. Where did my boy go? He “growed” up!

Ah, the world truly is an amazing place. It is hard to believe that at the time you wrote “it got up near 50 degrees..”, it did exactly that here – although here it was in celsius.

Great pics – thanks for sharing.

Wow. 50 degrees celsius–isn’t that like 122 degrees F? That is really hot. We had temperatures like that when we lived in Turkey and when CK was in Saudi Arabia, but never here. I think 105 is the hottest we’ve gotten here in Indiana.

    I hope you’re staying cool.

I can not believe how much MA has changed just since June!

He really has matured. He is so broad in the shoulders, chest, and arms from all the wood working. It’s amazing.

    Love, Kim
